Fundraising Campaign Coordinator

Job Summary
As a Fundraising Campaign Co-Ordinator at the Ayrshire Hospice you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring we maximise our income and maintain the highest standards of donor and supporter care. Your work will be instrumental in enabling us to continue to provide specialist palliative care and services to people and families affected by life shortening illness across Ayrshire and Arran.
We are looking for a creative, and community driven Fundraising Campaign Co-ordinator to assist in the development and delivery of fundraising campaigns that drive income, increase supporter engagement and build long-term relationships.
This role sits at the heart of our income generation strategy, focusing on community
fundraising, supporter acquisition and retention. You will plan and deliver
engaging, multi-channel campaigns, reaching new audiences and nurturing
existing donors, ensuring they feel valued and inspired.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Campaign and Community Fundraising
- In conjunction with the Fundraising Team develop and deliver creative fundraising campaigns to attract donors through both digital and traditional channels to achieve income targets.
- Initiate and manage intergenerational and local community fundraising activities including challenge events and fundraising toolkits.
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, schools, local
businesses, and volunteers to grow grassroots support.
- Ensure all campaigns are inclusive, accessible and community focussed.
- Contribute content and ideas for Hospice communication channels (e.g. website, social media, newsletters), ensuring these are delivered in partnership with, and through, the Communications and Marketing team
- Assist in the writing and submission of grant applications to secure funding from various sources.
- Track fundraising progress and report on outcomes to ensure targets are met.
- Work in close partnership with the Communications and Marketing team to ensure all fundraising communications are on-brand, consistent, and integrated into the Hospice’s wider strategy.
- In collaboration with the Communications & Marketing team ensure consistent tone of voice across multiple channels within agreed brand guidelines.
Supporter Retention
- Oversee donor retention strategies, ensuring donors are thanked, informed and re-engaged
- Create compelling supporter journeys that encourage long-term giving and stronger relationships.
Monitoring, CRM & Reporting
- Monitor the campaign schedule, ensuring timely delivery and cross team coordination.
- Track and report on campaign performance, supporter growth, and
return on investment.
- Oversee supporter data and communications via our CRM.
- Ensure supporter data is used ethically and in compliance with data protection regulations.
Other
- Ensure compliance with the Ayrshire Hospice policies and procedures.
- To be flexible within the broad remit of the post and represent the hospice at key events & activities as directed by the Senior Fundraising Manager.

Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
• SVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or Administration or relevant experience in a similar role - Desirable
• Experience of working in a fundraising environment - Desirable
Knowledge and Experience
• Understanding of donor acquisition and retention strategies - Desirable
• Confident in using a CRM system for supporter management and reporting - Desirable
• Microsoft office experience - Essential
• Understanding of fundraising best practices - Desirable
Ability/Skills
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral. An ability to communicate confidently and clearly to a range of diverse audiences. - Essential
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team and across the organisation - Essential
• Creative flair for content, storytelling and supporter engagement - Essential
• Confident presenter and willing to travel to community group events - Essential
• Highly organised, with good attention to detail and record-keeping - Essential

• Full Driving License and ability to provide own transport - Essential
