Volunteer - Gardener
Garden Volunteers use their green fingers to contribute to the maintenance and development of the hospice grounds; creating a beautiful setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a specific area of the hospice garden which can involve – watering,
- weeding, planting, feeding, trimming and disposing of plants where required
- Keep records of actions during shift and update Facilities Supervisor where required.
- Attendance at relevant training and team meetings
- Adherence to the relevant policies and procedures of the hospice
- Possibility of helping to support or leading on the growing of vegetables and
building on organisational sustainability objectives. - Grass cutting, strimming and maintaining hard standings.
