Job Summary

 We are looking for a Lottery Canvasser to join our team and help spread the amazing work of the Hospice, talk about our values and invite members of the Ayrshire and Arran community to sign up to a Direct Debit for the Ayrshire Hospice Lottery. You'll have autonomy working as your own boss in the community while being supported by our friendly fundraising team. We have just updated our attractive commission rates so there's never been a better time to join!

Personal qualities

• Canvassers must be aged 18 years or over
• Knowledge of the local area is essential
• Knowledge of Hospice services, understanding of the Hospice lottery and the ability to effectively communicate this information in a clear manner to the general public is essential
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a high standard of interpersonal skills. Previous experience dealing face to face contact with customers and the development of positive customer relationships is essential
• Practical knowledge, skills and experience will normally be obtained through previous experience in a sales environment
• You will be ambitious to achieve and will not be discouraged by rejection
• You will comply with all training and implement this practice when canvassing in the Ayrshire and Arran community
• You will hold a valid driving licence, have access to a vehicle and you will be responsible for your own expenses

Commission structure

Our fabulous canvasser commission rates are as follows.  We also operate a Retention and Clawback system and more information can be relayed at interview or on request.

 10 subscriptions signed up in a consecutive 7-day period (operates Tuesday-Monday) =  £16.50

11-30 subscriptions signed up in a consecutive 7-day period (operates Tuesday-Monday) = £22.00

31+ subscriptions signed up in a consecutive 7-day period (operates Tuesday-Monday) =  £27.50
